About Jason
Here are some tid bits about Jason:
I started looking into the sport in the summer of 2006. The late Mike Rish took me for an introductory wheeled tandem flight on 11-9-06, and I was hooked. I got a used glider from a pilot in the group that same day and started practicing kiting. On 12-20-06 there was a nice day to try for my first solo, but a slip on wet grass ended in a sore leg that made running too difficult for 2nd try. I did not fly that day. Winter hit in full force after that, and I didn’t get another chance to try to fly until March 11th of 2007. On that day I got up on my first try. From that day on, I flew as much as possible… I’m sure I’ll hit my 100th flight mark in my first season.
I currently fly a Sky Cruiser MZ-100 with a Paratoys size 25 glider.
